I would just like to make ONE thing CRYSTAL CLEAR

I only ever wanted everyone else to be as happy as I am.. or was… as a CHILD. But you know what? We are ALL children in one way shape or form.  So why not ask for help… when you know you need it?

loobypls:

Today my hometown was struck by a disgusting hardship.

A woman this afternoon was found by a neighbor, bleeding and naked. She was attacked in her home because she was gay. Two or more men broke into her home through the basement and proceeded to tag her basement. They found the homeowner, who is an open lesbian, and stabbed, assaulted, and carved “dyke” into her chest. They attempted to burn her house to the ground, but the gas only sparked. Somehow, this woman (who remains anonymous until she decides to come out on her own time) was able to escape. She was found naked, bound with zip ties, and bloody. She is still alive and in the hospital. A candle light vigil was held in her name tonight, where more than 500 people from Lincoln and surrounding cities and states joined to talk about the hate and to pay homage to the victim.

A recovery fund has been set up to help her cover medical bills and anything she may need. That link can be found here, along with a link from the original news story.

Today in Tibet

Nepalese police detained more than 100 Tibetan exiles on Tuesday who had gathered to pray for nine Tibetans who set themselves on fire in protest against Chinese rule. A group of Tibetans including 150 monks were holding a prayer meeting on the outskirts of Katmandu in honor of the monks, former monks and a nun who have self-immolated since March in a restive Tibetan area of western China that has been under martial law-type police controls. Aged in their late teens and twenties, at least five died of their injuries, while the condition of the other four is not known.

Ahh tears! So wonderful of a story, so sad yet heart-warming. I can’t imagine the animals that didn’t make it out.. or the ones who were never spotted. They’ll be in my positive thoughts, as I hope they will be in all of yours as well♥♥♥

pray with all your might for my cousin.

ntima:

my cousin’s little girl was attacked by a pit bull & was injured terribly yesterday. she went through 12 hours of face reconstructive surgery yesterday and is having to be kept in an induced coma for two weeks due to the pain.

she’s so little and my heart is aching for her. all prayers & well wishes are appreciated.

Ahh, I’m terribly sorry to hear of such an incident. I hope that this doesn’t create more stereotypical beliefs about pit bulls. Any animal (or human, for that matter) raised in the right, loving environment WILL turn out well. A lot of the pit bulls that give the others a “bad rep” are ones who were abused from puppy age. Moderately, to SEVERELY.

I will pray for this child. I hope some of my followers do too. And that at least a few of them spread the word. Let’s send some positive energy her way guys!!
