PLEASE NEVER GIVE YOUR ANIMALS HARTZ PRODUCTS! IT HAS CAUSED NUMEROUS DEATHS IN CATS, and DOGS, it HAS CAUSED BURNS, and SEIZURES, THE VETERINARIAN SAYS IT IS PURE POISON. EVEN THE ANIMAL TREATS! PLEASE PLEASE REBLOG THIS!! YOU MAY SAVE A LIFE!

i just looked this up you guys and its legit, so yeah, dont buy tthis stuff!

I haven’t looked into this yet, but just in case

I can speak from experience on this one.
About two years ago, fleas popped up in my house. I had never dealt with them before, so I wasn’t sure which product to buy. I settled on Hartz because it was the only brand in the store. I came home and applied it to my cat’s shoulders just like the instructions said. I noticed about an hour later that he was being a lot more lethargic than usual, and was even drooling excessively. Cats don’t really drool, not when they’re awake anyway. Needless to say, I freaked out and rushed him to the vet. I thought maybe some of the medicine had slid down his shoulders and maybe he licked it off.
I told the vets everything about his behavior and they said they had seen it before with other animals brought in after getting flea treatments from Hartz. One of the ladies examined his scruff and showed me what was going on. It wasn’t as bad as the poor dog in this image, but it was pretty bad. He only had that medicine on his back for an hour and it caused a major chemical burn, allowing the medicine to get into his system through the open wound.
They gave him a good long bath for me, administered an antibiotic to help clean his system, and let him stay overnight so they could watch his condition. The entire trip ended up costing me $100, and I learned a lesson from it. Kiwi’s just fine now, he recovered very quickly. But now I spend the extra money on buying a better brand. He gets Frontline treatments monthly, and Sentry brand shampoo for baths. These are top notch products and definitely worth the extra money. Cheaper than that vet visit for sure.
I don’t even touch Hartz’s other products like treats and toys. They use entirely unsafe materials in all of their products. The reason why nobody has ever been able to properly sue them is because they have a very strong team of lawyers to back them up. Pretty much the entire business end of the company is nothing but lawyers with master’s degrees. So instead of trying to bring them down through the justice system, the best we all can do is simply not buy their products, and spread the word.

I used the flea medicine on my cats, with no reaction. I will never do it again!

I used this on my weenie dog a few months ago, and the poor thing was convulsing and seizing, had major burns on his belly, foaming at the mouth, and could barely function for days. We couldn’t afford any medical help at the time, but after consulting vets their best advice was to get them to drink as much water as possible. We almost lost my pup to this product, after doing research I discovered they’re always dealing with lawsuits and my biggest question is WHY haven’t they been shut down yet? They are aware they are torturing and killing animals, but once again in this capitalist nation money comes first and there are probably way too many business connections in the politics, it’s disgusting. My only hope is that this circles the net enough to destroy their company, that their murderous reputation is recognized, and that people become aware of the products’ severity.

Holy shit, REBLOG. Get the word out.

I believe there are too many children who need loving parents to deny one group of people adoption rights. A child will benefit from a healthy, loving home, whether the parents are gay or not.

Create Food Democracy, Occupy our Food Supply
The biggest corporate takeover on the planet is the hijacking of the food system, the cost of which has had huge and irreversible consequences for the Earth and people everywhere.
From the seed to the farm to the store to your table, corporations are seeking total control over biodiversity, land, and water. They are seeking control over how food is grown, processed, and distributed. And in seeking this total control, they are destroying the Earth’s ecological processes, our farmers, our health, and our freedoms.
It starts with seeds. Monsanto and a few other gene giants are trying to control and own the world’s seeds through genetic engineering and patents. Monsanto wrote the World Trade Organization treaty on Intellectual Property, which forces countries to patent seeds. As a Monsanto representative once said: “In drafting these agreements, we were the patient, diagnostician [and] physician all in one.”
They defined a problem, and for these corporate profiteers the problem was that farmers save seeds, making it difficult for them to continue wringing profits out of those farmers. So they offered a solution, and their solution was that seeds should be redefined as intellectual property, hence seed saving becomes theft and seed sharing is criminalized. I believe that saving seeds and protecting biodiversity is our ecological and ethical duty. That is why I started Navdanya 25 years ago.
Navdanya is a movement to occupy the seed. We have created 66 community seed banks, saved 3000 rice varieties, stopped laws that would prevent us from seed saving, and fought against biopiracy.
Corporations like Monsanto have created a seed emergency. This is the reason I am starting a global citizen’s campaign on seed sovereignty. I hope you will all join. The lawsuit that 84 organizations, including Navdanya, have filed against Monsanto in New York through the Public Patent Foundation is an important step in reclaiming seed sovereignty.
The next step in the corporate control of the food supply chain is on our farms. Contrary to the claims of corporations, the chemical-based “green” revolution and genetic engineering do not produce more food. Navdanya’s report on GMOs, Health per Acre, shows that the GMO emperor has no clothes. Biodiverse organic farming protects nature while increasing nutrition per acre. We have the solutions to hunger, but it’s not profitable for major industrial agriculture companies like Monsanto and Cargill to implement those solutions….

Please REBLOG if you want to spread the word that it’s time to take back our food supply from reckless corporations like Monsanto & Cargill and build healthy, just, sustainable food systems that work for us all.

Destroying this planet for GREED is the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard of! When the companies that are doing this “succeed”… are they planning to spaceship off to another planet to start all over again?

“The most potent way to heal the planet is to awaken ourselves. Raising our vibration through consciousness and awareness, we emanate more and more light. As you shift frequency, you naturally begin to live more harmoniously. You fall more into alignment with the needs, not just of yourself, but of the greater good. Gratitude becomes a way of life; you begin to feel joy beyond reason, silence, peace, and wonder at the miracle of it all” - http://www.laughingrainbow.org/PlanetaryHealing.html

I believe that if people would learn to use LSD’s vision-inducing capability more wisely, under suitable conditions, in medical practice and in conjunction with meditation, then in the future this problem child could become a wonderchild.

The motha truckin reality of the situation y’all. Yeah, we’re young so lets have fun. But always, ALWAYS remember to be SAFE. We all know we only get one life with the personality that you have, so why waste it by getting behind the wheel while saying “FUCK IT, I’ve only had a few shots”
