I have two envelopes with words written on them that I keep on hand in my car..
One says “LEFT BRAKE LIGHT OUT” and the other “RIGHT BRAKE LIGHT OUT”
I seriously see a dozen or more people whose right or left brake light happen to be out. I make a mission out of getting next to them, honking, and holding up the appropriate notice. I figure since their brake lights are behind them, how else would they hope to know when one is out? Other than an outside party randomly noticing, and informing you.
Someone asked me today when I showed them ‘LEFT BRAKE LIGHT OUT’
"Did you just write that?!"
"No, this literally happens every day.”
"What, wow. So you’re like some good Samaritan?"
